For my 8th grade reading students who are avid readers I want to provide a range of topics young teens want to read about. For my non-readers, I want to provide books, especially graphic novel versions of both classic novels and current titles, that will catch their attention and leave them hungry for more. My wish for my reading students is that they discover the love of falling into a book and not wanting to get out. Having access to books shouldn't be denied anyone. I want my students to take advantage of having a classroom filled with books. Everything they hope to achieve depends on being a competent and well read person.
