Having an iPad in our classroom will do wonders for my students. During instruction, it can be a quick way to research a concept or answer a question. Unfortunately, with budget cuts and other monetary issues, technology is the last thing being added or funded to the classrooms. This is so unfortunate because technology, like iPad's should be available to all children. There are hundreds of apps available that would be such a benefit to my eighth grade students in helping them learn about their world. This iPad and case would also provide flexible technology based math centers which would incorporate our new language arts program. It would help them become better readers. My students deserve and desperately need every opportunity to explore the world around them through technology that the Apple iPad and case will allow them to do.
