In elementary school, we tell the students that they are getting ready for college. Never is this more true than using technology to do their school assignments. In the past, I successfully taught students how to type using the Typing Club app on the Chromebook. My project is to have students use Chromebooks to learn how to type and then type stories and poems. Typing is a vital skill for students to learn and one that they will use all the way through college and beyond! My students only have access to Chromebooks once a week. That is not enough time for me to teach them how to type. I am asking for three Chromebooks to set up a typing and writing station. The students will practice typing and writing stories and poems. Kids love producing their own original pieces of writing. Please consider donating to my project today. Thanks!
