My students will be able to access the internet with the Amazon Fire Tablets to enhance their learning in all curricular areas. We are in a technological society, and students are now being tested on computers. We must allow them to practice the necessary skills for success. Not only will students use the tablets to access programs for reading comprehension, they will be able to research topics for evidence in their writing. As a 2nd grade teacher, I know how valuable it is to have students who are technologically saavy. If I can help provide this background for my students, I know this will be invaluable to them now and in the future. My students are hard-working and motivated. Having alternative seating available will allow everyone to work at his or her potential. Students who need these seats can let their energy out and their creativity flow. Finally, STEM kits are the hands-on metaphor for this entire project. In my classroom, we had a few problems that could be solved with a little creativity and perseverance. By funding Amazon Fire tablets, alternative seating, and STEM kits, you would be showing my students how to we are problem solvers! Thank you for considering our DonorsChoose.org project.
