Flexible seating will let my students learn in a more personalized way. They can choose more seating arrangements beyond the traditional desk. It will provide ownership and feeling like the classroom was designed for them to learn best. Everyone wants to feel like their classroom was designed with them in mind, and flexible seating creates that unique feeling. Students will be more engaged in the classroom and lead to more success to be college and career ready. All students in my classroom love learning; however, they each have an individual learning style. These learning styles should be embraced and flexible seating is one way to empower my students.
