Flexible seating has recently become an amazing part of the classroom setting. The variety of seating gives students another aspect of choice in their learning environment. It allows them to feel more comfortable, allows them to move within their own area, and even helps them better focus on their tasks. The stools requested are perfect for our room as they are lightweight and easy to move, they are the correct height for second graders, and they are comfortable (I've already purchased one set with my own money). The additional wobble stool will be perfect for one or two of my special needs students who thrive off of their ability to move throughout the day.
