Our 4th grade Science curriculum directs our students to learn different forms of energy. The energy students use in their homes everyday is connected to a source of power. If the connection line is broken, then the power cannot be transferred to their devices. These circuit boards can be used to teach students that electrical energy needs a closed circuit with a power source to transfer the the electrical energy from one place to another. The amount of electrical energy flowing through parallel circuits can be changed and adjusted through the use of resisters or multiple devices connected to the power source. As students work together to solve challenging electronic puzzles, they'll develop social skills from group think scenarios. These life skills had been missing during their time with at home remote learning.
