In science, my students will be learning how to observe and describe land and water animals. They will observe differences in structure and behavior and learn about the basic needs of animals. This year, I will be focusing more on experiences that heighten students’ awareness, curiosity and understanding of the physical world. By having engineering resources in the classroom, my students will be able to have more hands-on experience. I have ELL learners and this is their first experience learning French. With these materials, they benefit from more hands-on learning. This year, I would like to create a science station in my classroom to give my kindergartners the opportunity to discover, be curious and explore the world around us. Manipulatives will allow them to experiment and build their research skills. I want my students to be able to feel successful learning and discover new things independently. The resources above from my list will provide added supports to be successful in both academics and in life.
