My students have begun to code, but really need more interactive materials to understand coding better and to make their projects come to life. These materials will be utilized in Coding Stations, where students will build and code LEGO Rovers, make their animal creations robotic, and learn unplugged versions of coding through board games. In addition, my students are beginning a unit in Science where they are learning about how Geckos adapt behaviorally and physically to their environment. With me, they will create a gecko that has a variety of adaptations. Once completed, they will program it to move in ways that would ensure its survival.
