I teach 5 sections of Biology with about 40 students in each class. I see almost 200 students a day, and they all have the same curriculum to learn. I would love to have the ability to differentiate my classroom more. With Chromebooks in my classroom, I could accomplish this. Our high school does not have an Honors Biology course, and I would love to be able to challenge my upper level students more than I currently do. Many of my students have high interests levels in the medical fields, and I would like to provide them opportunities to connect with and learn more about them. By differentiating my classroom through the use of Chromebooks , I will be able to hold my students to a higher standard. I would like to provide them with interactive lab experiences that they may not otherwise get in my classroom. If students are working at an accelerated rate, I would like to provide them opportunities to carry out additional labs using technology online. I would really appreciate any support I could get towards making this happen and would eventually love to have 40 Chromebooks for all students to use. For this project, I am requesting nine Chromebooks.
