The pandemic has taken away some students' ability to just talk with and work with other students. Giving my students access to LEGO building blocks to create with and work on projects with other students. Books help expand their knowledge of the world we live in and explore the opportunities that are available to everyone if we work hard. Hands-on materials are so important at this young age, tactile items such as multiplication flashcards and handheld clocks to help reinforce that math needs to be practiced in different ways, for example: in a group, with a partner, or using games.
