Students at Heritage Intermediate Grade Center love learning about their country! The excitement when learning about different states and the different ones they have visited or lived in, makes it so fun! Fourth grade is when Social Studies is mainly introduced. The kids find SS so interesting and are amazed at how many states there are and that there are "capitals". The combo of the kids just learning about Social Studies and the states and capitals and they can relate to some of it, the lessons and learning become more engaging. Therefore, life long learning is incorporated. Life long learning they will remember and use immediately and in their future years down the road.

About my class
