My students are ten and twelfth graders who attend a severely overpopulated public high school. With a student body toppling 4300, supplies are scarce. My students are a vibrant bunch; they have a deep curiosity for learning about the "bigger" things. As we study each piece of literature, they are able to draw connections between even the most ancient pieces, and the issues that affect our world today.

About my class
