A STEAM class requires lots of supplies so that students can do multiple hands-on projects throughout the year. With this being our first year we are very limited on supplies and budget. I know that each year we will be able to do more activities and explore more about STEAM with supplies like this. These materials will allow us to do 100's of projects for year after year. I have two big projects that students will be able to do the right way with these supplies. We will explore electricity with paper circuits using the LED lights, batteries and copper tape. Students will use the engineering design thinking process to create a cardboard creature using the microbit as a face. The scissors and cardboard knives will make it easier to cut the cardboard. The tape will allow students to create new products with the cardboard. The possibilities are endless.
