Students in the GATES program are eager to use their gifts and talents in problem solving and producing. At the moment, we are just beginning to build this new program from the ground up with materials and supplies. The teachers here are being very creative with the few materials and used furniture we have found. Our resources are limited and these students are able to do so much more if given the opportunity. As this new program grows, we hope for our students to be the leaders in elementary school programmers in our area. In order for this to occur, we need your help in supplying these iPads for students to use to learn to code with Scratch, JR, Project Lead the Way Grids and Games, Robotics, and creating their own apps. Using technology not only increases opportunities to become technological producers, but increases interest in learning and staying in school!
