These chairs are the correct music-appropriate chairs we NEED for our classroom. Proper posture is the most basic requirement for music creation (besides the instruments themselves). These will replace our current chairs, which are standard bucket seat chairs found in every other classroom. These chairs somewhat force the students to sit correctly and breathe properly to set them up for success. A commonly overlooked commondity that is a necessity in any band/orchestra room. Although chairs may not seem like an exciting project, this is something that will completely revolutionize the music program in my school. These chairs will affect over 400 students at my school everyday for years and years to come. We need a total of 80 chairs to outfit our current music room. These starting 27 chairs will help us gain more in the future through donorschoose.org. Thank you for your consideration!
