My students are from a small low-income district where resources are scarce or shared throughout the district. Our junior high physical education class does not have a designated location or equipment. Modern day yoga, interval cardio and light weight training is the plan for this flexible P.E. class. Team sports does not have to be the only place for fun, physical activity in the middle grade levels. I would like to be able to create a flexible P.E. class that can be productive and conducted anywhere. The equipment will be used weekly to develop good, healthy habits that these students can continue in their future.
