STEM activities are the driving force for successful future learners. With the majority of our students coming from low-income homes, these activities will help support STEM curriculum that blends math, science and engineering and helps develop problem solving skills. In groups, the students will build and model what they have learned using these hands-on STEM activities. As part of our math and science lessons, the students will visually model their thinking and use teamwork to creatively show their understanding of what they have learned. These types of challenges really focus on the thought and process of thinking like an engineer or science. They can only do this if they have the tools they need.
