These materials will make a difference in my students’ learning by allowing them to use math manipulatives to create a better understanding of concepts. The wipe-away number lines as well as all of the other math manipulatives will keep students engaged while developing a connection to math vocabulary and symbols. They will also be able to use science kits to think like scientists and master standards. Students will plan and conduct experiments by observing and testing their hypotheses. They will be able to use headphones for listening centers and enjoy literacy in a different way. Listening centers help students develop fluency, expression, and comprehension skills. It helps to create confident and successful readers.
