My students are all nonverbal children on the Autism spectrum that are also on the lower functioning side. All of my students learn by doing and seeing. In order to access the world around them and interact with peers and teachers, it would be beneficial for all of them to have access to the technology that the iPads offer. We will put a communication system on the iPads so that they may interact, reading programs so that they may access words and comprehension, games so that they may use the iPad as a reinforcer and science programs so that they may manipulate information in order to fully grasp.
