These materials will engage students in activities that not only build fitness, but self-esteem and transform our locker room into a creative space in which to learn. The building kits will help students use creativity and modeling to practice fine motor skills. I choose a variety of materials that focus on gross and fine motor movements because all students in grades K-4 need ample opportunities to practice these in a variety of settings with a variety of materials. These materials will make a difference in the learning of the students because it focuses on areas that will enhance academic skills as well.
