Most of my students this year are in homes full of family members working from home and siblings that are also doing virtual schooling. Many of us can relate to being at home and trying to create a space where we can work from home - making it quiet and intentional for working or learning. This can be challenging when your home is busy. A noisy environment can make it difficult to focus and learn. Many families are doubled up, living with other families in a small apartment or home. This was the biggest distraction last spring when we transitioned to virtual learning. Starting of the 2020-2021 academic school year by creating a quiet space with headphones would be a great way to set the stage for academic success!

About my class
