The High School Band students are in need of recording equipment for their practices and performances. They will benefit from the Canon XA11 Camcorder by having the ability to record and view themselves performing, and see how they can improve with the visual feedback provided. This is vital with the young group we have, as neither sophomores or freshmen have any prior marching experience due to Hurricane Harvey's impact on our district. This will be used in recording rehearsals for student viewing, as well as competitions, in order to provide a learning tool they can review. Our UIL competitions also do not provide recordings of their shows anymore, so this will give students and parents an opportunity to have a recorded memory of their accomplishments.
