My students are wonderful and smart. This year, we are focusing on instilling in them a true love of reading to help them achieve their goals. However, our classroom libraries do not have a large variety of books on their reading levels. In our classrooms, we read daily for anywhere from 30-90 minutes. My students would greatly benefit from being able to choose books that are of interest to them that they are able to read independently. By having more books on their levels and according to their interests, I hope that my scholars will develop a strong love of reading.
