All of these materials are important requirements in order to make a successful Picture Exchange Communication System for my students. We all use our voice to communicate every day and its time these children get a voice of their own. A color printer is crucial in order to print picture icons for my students to use with their Picture Exchange Communication System. Printing their pictures on card stock is preferential when it comes to durability of the icon since it will be used every day throughout the day (just like we use our own voice)! The miniature clipboards are an easy, handheld platform to keep their pictures with them at all times. The Velcro will be used to secure the pictures to the clipboard and for the children to pull off the pictures and replace them when they are finished using them.
