Being a library media specialist, I get the honor of teaching every grade level in the school. My students range in age from 5 to 12 years old, and every single one of them breathes life into the library media center. As a Title I school in southern Florida, the vast majority of my students come from low-income households. This, however, has no effect on the positivity and enthusiasm they bring to the media center. My students are eager to innovate and anxious to become better readers. They adore interacting with technology and would love the opportunity to do it more of it. They are creative problem-solvers and lively conversationalists. Each of my 600+ students crafts a distinct identity with their storytelling, information literacy, and digital citizenship - we just need your help to continue our growth!

About my class
