As technology continues to shape the world around us, it has also developed a generation of students who learn best when curriculum or instruction is presented in a variety of ways. My students are growing and developing in a technology Era. These Fire tablets will help us access a world beyond our communities. My students learn best when they have access to standards and curriculum presented in a multitude of different ways, such as through apps, games, websites, videos, graphics, and pictures. A simple video of a tadpole, picture of a tiger, or an opportunity to research a legend such as Johnny Appleseed, can make the biggest impact on my students. My students have not had much exposure to other uses of technology such as coding, or creating a slideshow presentation, or even simply reading a digital book! Access to these very important components of learning help to spark the continual motivation and eagerness to learn!
