These Amazon Fire tablets will allow all of my eager students to participate in computerized learning collaboratively and collectively. We use several highly endorsed web based educational programs that track individual learning and use assessment tools to find gaps in learning. Right now, I only have enough I pads and tablets to let half of my class access online learning at one time. Using tablets lets them feel empowered in their own learning and keeps them excited about working and improving their skills. Using visual learning increases engagement among my students. With access to tablets I can use automatic response programs to instantly find out if students are understanding content as it is being taught. Having a complete set of tablets would allow me to do more group actives and leave no students out of the exciting world of learning through active involvement.
