I am attempting to reduce the waste I produce in my classroom. By using these supplies to laminate things that I print over and over and by refilling the whiteboard markers, I can dramatically reduce the amount of paper and plastic trash that we produce in my classroom. My students and I are often horrified at how many whiteboard markers we go through while playing our various learning games. There are many materials I have created, like game boards, that I would not have to print over and over and would last for years of use if I could laminate them. And being able to refill the dry erase markers, that can be used on the laminated sheets, instead of throwing them away after a dozen or so uses would ease all our minds and our impact on the environment. AND it would also set a good example for them that every little thing they put in the trash impacts the world around them.
