Sitting in the same seats all day can be frustrating for some students. Giving the students the opportunity to choose their seating will help them focus and engage in the lesson more often. In a reading classroom it is imperative that the students constantly expand their vocabulary. This can often be a challenge. By using the Wordly Wise books not only are students exposed to new vocabulary but they are given various activities to practice using the words. By combining flexible seating with the usage of Wordly Wise will not only engage the students more but will encourage them to work on it independently and frequently. This will boost their confidence in reading, expand their knowledge while seating comfortably.
