These laptops will help me ensure that each child in 6th grade mastered basic coding skills, a necessary tool for the future. I want each child to learn to create his/her own video game using Scratch, a block based visual language. In 7th grade, these laptops will ensure that each child has had the experience to learn to control a VexIQ robot autonomously through coding. They will also use these laptops to take with them to competitions both locally and to state competitions. Having these laptops will ensure that each child that passes through my class will have competitive coding skills that help launch their futures.

About my class
