STEM students in my class design and create on a daily basis. Traditional school chairs are not practical for the thinking and designing they do in my class. Creative seating options will help improve their comfort and collaborative work. Wobble chairs will allow my students the freedom of movement as they collaborate on their STEM projects and ideas. Allowing students to move has been proven to increase thinking and creativity. Wobble chairs will allow all students this opportunity. My students are constantly working in groups and wobble chairs are lightweight enough for even the little students to move on their own. There are no chair legs to hit another student with when moving around the classroom. I will be using the Sit Spots to mark my reading area so student have their own spot for reading time, which we do on a daily basis.
