The materials and supplies that I've requested for my students will allow their creative lightbulbs to shine bright. Since the program is new to our building we have limited resources available to work with. These materials will allow room for us to incorporate more projects throughout the school year. I strongly believe that hands on projects promote diverse learning! The washable paint and marker dots will be used for math projects. They will also be incorporated during station time, where students can work with a partner to complete a project. The set of aprons will allow them to work, have fun, and stay clean. I plan to use wobble flexible seats around my kidney table to work in small groups. These seats will allow students with special needs to have alternative seating options. During small groups students can use the vinyl dry erase table top mats to express their thoughts. The 10 drawer organization cart will be used to sort, and store student work after small groups. I added special School to Home Connection folders to the supply list, as well, so they are able to take assignments home and share with their family.
