I am seeking funds to purchase iPads to continue to increase the integration of technology in the classroom. I would like to implement iPads as a learning tool in the classroom that can provide a unique learning experience. With the use of this technology, learning can be easily differentiated, students will be encouraged to collaborate through task such as creating multimedia projects, and allow access to a wide range of literary texts. Students will have access to apps that reinforce and increase understanding of core skills. With its portability, iPads, allow access to digital technology in small group instruction that is not accessible through smartboards or classroom computers. The use of this technology allows for direct feedback to students that engages the students in monitoring their own learning. As an educator it has always been my goal to provide personalized instruction that allows each student to excel at their level. This added technology will help me to further achieve this goal.
