Recently, our faithful projector of 5 years has finally given out. My students thoroughly enjoyed the experiences from using our projector throughout various parts of the school day. We would project stories previously read from books and complete Venn diagrams to compare story details. In mathematics, students enjoyed interactive sorting and counting activities through the use of our classroom projector. I am very creative and definitely still incorporate lots of educational games and things of that nature to keep learning fun for my students. However, I have noticed a huge void in my students enthusiasm when trying to teach certain skills that I know, if presented in a different format, it would definitely capture and put the spark of learning back in their little eyes.
