There is a saying in Kindergarten that it's not just child's play, but it is the way we learn. Children learn more through play and hands on experiences than through any other modes of learning. The Light table, sensory bin, and manipulates will help to enhance all of my students learning by using their whole bodies to explore the world around them. The donations to this project will help to improve competency in the areas of math, literacy, and writing for all students in a fun and engaging way. The materials that I have selected will reinforce all the knowledge that they have acquired and allow students to apply that knowledge in a real world situation using their own hands to explore the world around them.
