I expose my students to as many different types of music and composers as possible. I plan to create a listening station where students can listen to different composers' music and learn about the composer and/or style of music. This station will be used in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students gain a deeper understanding when they are allowed to explore and create. I plan on having students use virtual instruments to compose melodies and rhythms. These headphones will enable students to listen to their own project and perfect it before sharing with the class.
