The Hands-On Equations materials will help my students visualize equations and manipulate them with their hands, before they transfer those skills to pencil and paper. Equations are the foundation of Algebra, and my students need to understand these concepts before going to high school. They will be able to participate in hands-on lessons, starting with the most simple equations and then progressing at their pace to more complex equations.
Not only will this kit help them learn the concept of equations in a way that works for their brains and learning styles, it will also help improve their confidence and their views of themselves as learners.
This kit will help me teach not only the students on my caseload, but also students who have not yet been identified and are in need of intervention. Please consider supporting us, and be a part of setting up my students for success in high school next year!
