Students will be using the devices to access the virtual curriculum as well as researching and publishing essays. Technology in special education classrooms enable students to learn in a way that accommodates their individual learning styles and limitations. Equally important is helping them experience greater independence, less anxiety and a natural, more comfortable and effective communication as well as increased academic performance. Students in the self contained special education classroom have never had a set of working laptops. These devices will enable each of my special needs students to be successful.
