Learning ukulele together will help reinforce the growth mindset projects we will be working on all year in first grade. Research shows that musical experience strengthens many of the same aspects of brain function that are impaired in individuals with language and learning difficulties. In addition to stimulating brain development, our goal is to perform a song together for members of our school community at the end of the school year. We will learn at least four chords and choose a song to perform as a class. The students will use the ukuleles both in school and at home. Thank you in advance for your support!
