I serve students with learning disabilities and special needs. School is already a challenge to them. With Covid cases increasing in our area, we are in the process of transitioning to distance learning. This will make learning even more of a struggle. I need a way to connect my students to the materials they need to be successful. If I had access to an iPad, I could project so many visual examples to my students at home. I could demonstrate how to solve math problems, project texts and stories, and even take them on virtual field trips. Visual learning is necessary to the success of my students!
