These art supplies will help students learn through hands-on, creativity-driven activities! Students will have the ability to highlight their unique strengths through drawing, painting, coloring, sculpting, and creating! Activities range from illustrating writing projects, to designing Reader's Theater sets, making realistic masks that correspond with animal research projects, engaging in STEM projects, and so much more! I have found student engagement and interest drastically increase when the arts are incorporated, especially for students who struggle with reading and math. The arts have a way of highlighting individual intelligences and developing a sense of importance and community. "Involvement in the arts engages kids in their community, improves self-esteem, reclaims at-risk youth, and builds the creative skills that are required for a 21st century workforce." ~ Gavin Newsom
