By using these Chromebooks during small-group time each day, my students will be able to dive deeper into their learning in core concepts. They will have the ability to research in real time and have instant access to data. They love using technology, and having the ability to use it responsibly in a classroom setting will help them begin to create a positive digital footprint all while exploring school-approved topics in an exciting and progressive way. There are also many Google tools that students will be able to use and ignite their creativity, bring them together as a learning community and provide a jump start to their learning. If they are able to receive these Chromebooks, students will be able to make their learning at school more realistic and not so disconnected. This project will help students see school not just as a place they are required to go each day, but as a place where they can enrich their lives.
