My district has adopted the Science of Reading to teach students how to read. The KleenSlate will engage students in learning and guide my teaching. Allowing each student to have their own KleenSlate will enable them to have an interactive learning tool to use in small group and whole group instruction. Students will write on the board and hold it up to share their learning with me. They can erase and try again if needed or begin practicing a new skill. We will use it for academic purposes but also as an outlet for personal creative time. The best part is the board has an eraser attached and a place for the marker to snap onto the handle, no more losing supplies!
