Having choice allows student to take charge of their education, even if it's where they are sitting during the lesson. Allowing students a flexible seat can give the teacher the incentive that student may need to stay focused and engaged. Teaching ELAR with choice encourages a deeper understanding and connection. Having students sit where they learn best is half the battle to growing and achieving to feel the success they deserve. Having bean bags allows students choice and an alternative to the traditional seating. Studies show movement is key to retention and engagement. Having students move to new seating choices gives students this opportunity!
