My students prefer to choose quiet spots on the floor around my classroom to write. I have 4 clipboards in my room right now that they love to use. A class set would be wonderful! It still amazes me how colored paper generates enthusiasm to write. One of our favorite parts of writing is publishing our work! My students enjoy adding illustrations and art to their compositions. It is the little details that can make writing more engaging and exciting for my students! Seeing them produce creative pieces and add their personality with art is truly rewarding! Having access to these materials in my classroom will help encourage my students to love writing.
