My nonverbal students are beginning to learn how to communicate with their peers and teachers in the classroom. They are working on goals like requesting an item, saying no, asking for help, asking to go to the bathroom, and responding to others. These Amazon Fire tablets will provide a voice for 8 nonverbal students. With the use of a free communication app, our students will have the ability to communicate with their peers and teachers (say hello, request an item, ask for help, answer a question, ask to go to the bathroom, etc). These students will use the tablets as an alternative mode of communication to communicate in the classroom. Please help give my students a voice to communicate and succeed in school.
