I work with preschool and kindergarten-aged students with mild to profound communication disorders. These materials will be motivating and effective in eliciting the desire to request, comment, and engage in important early non-verbal communication routines. Many students have these sorts of materials at home and develop early communication skills on their own; however, I serve primarily lower SES students who do not get the chance to explore and engage. I have many similar objects in my therapy room but I would like to expand the exposure to different materials and objects to really give my students the best chance to become all-star communicators. Help give my students a voice!
