Instructional time will be maximized as I am able to quickly assess understanding with one look at each student's board. Instead of only being able to call on one person to come up and show the class how they got their answer, all students will be actively engaged and able to show me and their classmates how they solved a problem. During math instruction, EVERY student will be able to show their work on a personal dry erase board! Students who don't feel comfortable answering orally, will still be able to share by showing me their board. During math workshop and independent practice, students will love using the magnetic frames, number bonds, and flash cards to practice important math skills.

About my class
