I will teach students basic electrical circuitry with a Snap Circuits-Arcade Building Kit. It will be a lesson in mathematics and also in wiring. They will build their own working circuits and understand how basic wiring works in many of the devices that they use and see every day. They will learn about series and parallel circuits and get additional practice using fractions that many students seem to struggle with learning. I will be working in conjunction with the integrated science teacher on interdisciplinary lessons as well about electricity. I see topics including conductivity, resistance, and Ohm's Law. Other integrated science vocabularies such as coulombs per second/amps​ could be discussed, etc...
